"Hi. You said part of the deal with the evaluation version was to email you back with my opinion of your software. Well, I love it, I love it, I love it. I used it to convert a giant set of plot files to pdfs for a project. Creating the pdf files normally has taken about 5 hours, and your software converted the plt files to pdfs in 9 minutes.
I convinced my boss we have to buy at least one license (and once I have it, everyone will want it), so I'm supposed to give all the information to my IT guy next week when he's back from vacation.

"I have used Adobe Acrobat to individually convert drawings and in this business, when you have 50-100 drawings to convert at once, that eats up the price of your software in a heartbeat. Yesterday I was working at my other office and had a drawing to convert to pdf that contained a raster image I had pasted into it. Adobe Acrobat would not convert that drawing and failed repeatedly. It would work on it about five minutes and then error out. I sent the drawing to Brian, so I didn't have to come back to this office, and he converted it with AcroPlot in a flash and I was back in business."

We work on several airport projects with a lot of engineering and construction companies which provide from time to time CD-ROMs full of drawings, everybody working with a different CAD system and different layer structures, fonts, linetypes, units, ... Until AcroPlot it was simply impossible to get an overall picture of what was delivered to you as DWGs or DXFs. Now we copy everything to a subdirectory & let AcroPlot print all files with one black&white ctb into one PDF file. This will be printed overnight on the Laser printer and in the morning you'll have a booklet of all drawings ready for further action. The bookmark function let you identify and find every single drawing and layout in that one PDF file. In Acrobat I split this one large file to different files for different user groups. And, for the first time, it's possible to exchange drawings paperless (and CADless) to different continents of this world. "AcroPlot has helped us tremendously in converting our Hanover 3D ACAD drawings to PDF format. We did have quite a bit of trouble accomplishing this before buying your product. We like to send out the drawings to customers in PDF format for security purposes. AcroPlot is strait forward, easy to use, and saves us large amounts of time. The software also hides hidden lines in the 3D drawings so that they come out clean and neat. We sometimes also use the software for plotting large quantities of drawings at once.
